Vias Plage is a family resort which includes 5 km of sandy beaches. The most popular are those of Farinette, Libron and Clot. They are close to the city center and monitored in summer. Beach Tamarissière, east side of Grau d'Agde, is wilder and less crowded.

Vias is a common 5600 inhabitants belonging to the township of Agde located 17 km from Béziers. It is crossed by the Canal du Midi and has a nice heritage, including a castle historical monument (Castle Preignes-le-Vieux), ramparts and a church built between the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries (St. John the Baptist) . The small seaside resort Vias Plage, sometimes called district of the Farinette, is served during the high season a shuttle that leaves from downtown. The Canal du Midi, located between the city center and the seaside resort, is a place conducive to walking and cycling. The town has more than 20 marked trails for mountain biking (over 500 km) between sea, channel and vineyards. The tours depart from the Tourist Office of Vias and through some neighboring municipalities (Nizas Florensac, Montagnac). If you want to navigate takes, you can rent a boat for a day to reach Béziers or the Thau lagoon.
